New Windsor work session: minutes approved, employee handbook wording to be revised, meeting adjourned

At the start of the Oct. 21 work session, Mayor Neal C. Roop called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember William Holl moved to approve the Sept. 16, 2024 minutes; Councilmember Connor Frock seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
Council reviewed a draft employee handbook and asked for rewording on page 7 under the Compensation section, specifically the last line of the first paragraph; no revised language was recorded in the minutes.
Clerk Dana Mangus announced upcoming meeting dates: Nov. 6 (Town Council), Nov. 18 (work session), and Dec. 4 (Town Council). At 7:39 p.m. Councilmember Kevin Cornick moved to close the meeting, Councilmember Dave Hoffman seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
