Council Member Brendan Sweeney argued the donated bracket required only a few screws; Manager Denton said he preferred a professional installation because directing town staff to drill into walls could create OSHA and liability risks if an employee were injured. The council agreed a professional installation was appropriate and directed Denton to proceed with Pendergraft's proposal; the motion carried 4‑1, with Sweeney opposed.
Council Member Corey Kelly said he preferred the town host meetings on its own website rather than using a third‑party platform or a personal account, and asked that installation and streaming go live within weeks. The council also asked staff to explore having the vendor serve as either a contractor or a volunteer videographer, per a separate request noted on the agenda.
