The Stoddard Selectboard on May 27 unanimously elected Terri LaRoche as Selectboard chair and approved a slate of administrative appointments and reappointments ahead of the coming fiscal year. The board also adopted its rules and procedures and signed them during the meeting.
The board voted to appoint Aisha Khan as Selectboard secretary and reappointed Aaron Bryer to another term on the Conservation Commission. Jason Kovarik was named the board’s ex‑officio representative to the Planning Board and Dean Dorman was appointed alternate ex‑officio. Terri LaRoche moved the appointments; Jason Kovarik or Dean Dorman seconded the motions and votes were recorded as unanimous.
The board appointed Kailey MacDonald as Emergency Management Director for a three‑year term. Chair LaRoche asked Fire Chief Steve Rockwell to inquire at the Fire Department about interest in serving as deputy emergency management director. Zoning Board of Adjustment appointments were tabled for a later meeting.
The actions finalize leadership and liaison roles the board said are needed to carry out committee work and prepare for scheduled infrastructure and budget decisions this year. The board signed the adopted Selectmen Rules and Procedures before moving on to other agenda items.
