Councilmember Connor Frock moved to accept the hunting MOU as written; Councilmember Joshua Wolfe Mallow seconded and the council approved the motion 5-0. The MOU itself was accepted as presented; the council did not amend the document during the session.
Separately, Mike Condon asked to extend his lease at Bowersox Farm for an additional 10 years, citing a desired long-term commitment (the tenant’s current lease is set to expire next year). Council members expressed a preference for a five-year extension with the option to extend for an additional five years; the Town Manager was directed to contact Mike Condon and the town attorney to develop an updated lease agreement reflecting the council’s direction.
No formal motion to amend the lease term was recorded at the work session. Further details and any amended lease language will be developed by staff and the town attorney and returned to the council for formal approval.
