City staff to begin implementing housing plan after council approval; historic survey goes to council Aug. 3

Planning staff told the San Fernando Planning and Preservation Commission that the City Council approved the housing implementation plan the commission had been working on for more than a year and a half, and staff will begin implementation in the coming weeks.
"Staff will begin implementation in a couple of weeks," planning staff member Ronald told the commission, adding that the historic survey the commission saw previously will be presented to the council on Aug. 3. Ronald said the planning commission currently has no scheduled meeting in August and staff will update commissioners about items anticipated for September or October as review of pending projects continues.
No formal action or vote was taken on the implementation update; the report was provided as information to the commission.
