The Mukwonago Plan Commission unanimously approved a site-plan and architectural review May 12 for a roughly 140-square-foot accessory storage shed at the YMCA on East Wolf Run (parcel MUKV2013995006). Planning staff described the shed as painted wood/composite siding (similar to T1-11 composite "smart side"), placed more than 10 feet from the rear of the building, and intended for storage of equipment and supplies for YMCA programs.
Commissioners asked about siding and whether utilities or lighting were included; the Planner (staff) said the siding would be painted wood/composite and that the shed has no utilities or exterior lighting. Staff recommended approval and the commission adopted PC resolution 2026-07 on a voice vote.
Staff noted the structure is small and the code allows the proposed materials and setbacks. Any future utilities or additions would trigger further review.
