The Village of Mukwonago Committee of the Whole on April 1 recommended approval of several special-event permits and temporary alcohol licenses for 2026 after staff reported no public-safety concerns.
Trustees recommended and approved a series of Amphobic Beer Garden events at Field Park on May 30, June 27, July 25, Aug. 29 and Sept. 19, 2026. Police and fire staff said they have not had problems with past events and raised no objections.
The Committee also approved Phantom Junction Stage’s concert-in-the-park permit for Aug. 14, 2026 (the committee confirmed the date avoids a scheduling conflict with a neighboring community) and approved a Mukwonago Food Pantry request to serve at Phantom Junction Stage events on specified dates. The Committee subsequently approved temporary Class B beer and wine license applications for Mukwonago Food Pantry events and for a Chamber of Commerce Mother’s Day wine walk (May 9, 2026).
“I don't have any concerns,” the police representative said when asked about the Amphobic Beer events; trustees proceeded to approve the permits by voice vote.
All motions were seconded and approved; trustees asked that organizers coordinate with police and public-works staff as needed for logistics and safety planning.
