Nelson trustees approve 2025 budget, licenses and several purchases

The Village of Nelson board approved its 2025 budget and a series of routine items during its Nov. 13 meeting at the Village Community Hall.
President Brian Glass presided as trustees first approved the October minutes. The board then approved the minutes of the 2025 budget meeting and adopted the 2025 budget after a motion by Randy, seconded by Kevin; the motion carried.
Trustees approved three operator licenses after a motion from Mike, seconded by Becca. The board also approved the 2024 "specials" (Becca moved; Mike seconded) and authorized Mike to purchase a shed following bids (Randy moved; Becca seconded). The treasurer's report was accepted on a motion from Mike with a second by Kevin.
All motions recorded in the minutes are noted as "carried"; the minutes do not include individual roll-call tallies. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 8:30 p.m.; Randy moved to adjourn.
The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Community Hall.
