At its March 16 meeting the Epping Board of Selectmen approved a 3.7% cost-of-living adjustment for town employees after discussion among selectmen about whether to set COLA at 3.7% or 3.8%.
Selectman Joe Trombley moved to set the COLA at 3.7% using the cited CPI information; Vice Chair Pamela Tibbetts seconded and the motion carried 5-0. The board also approved an annual salary of $84,200 for Town Clerk and Tax Collector Erika Robinson, effective April 1.
Board discussion focused on pegging the COLA to available CPI data; no changes to staffing levels were announced. The COLA and the clerk’s salary are effective in the next payroll period following the April 1 effective date.
The board later reconvened non-public session for a personnel matter and voted to seal the non-public minutes.
