Staff member described the request by Northick Property LLC, said Ken Northick was present, and recommended approval after noting the application, map and ordinance materials were published and mailed to neighboring owners. “This was also published in the paper on January 29,” the staff member said; staff recommended the change from I‑1 to C‑3.
No speakers opposed during the public hearing; the applicant indicated they were present to answer questions. A motion to approve the rezoning was made, seconded and carried on affirmative votes from members present.
Staff said the item will also appear before the board on Monday as part of the consent/annexation packet; procedural follow up will be completed by planning staff.
