The Board of Aldermen approved a contract with TMI Coatings on April 6 to pressure wash and repaint the elevated storage tank at Frick Park.
Matt told the board four companies requested bid documents but only one sealed bid was received — TMI Coatings at $38,580.50. Staff noted a prior nonsealed price quote of $39,500 from last September and recommended awarding the contract to TMI because the sealed bid came in below that prior estimate and below current budget.
A motion to approve the contract for $38,580.50 was made, seconded and passed unanimously.
