The Nelson Select Board convened at 3:00 PM on Oct. 9 and approved routine business before discussing other agenda items.
Selectman Mike Blaudschun moved to approve the minutes of the Oct. 2, 2024 meeting; Brenna Kucinski seconded and the motion carried 2-0. The board then approved the Oct. 9 manifest in a separate motion by Blaudschun, seconded by Kucinski (motion carried 2-0).
The board approved a building permit for J. Russo to replace the roof and raise a wall on approximately half the structure to create a partial second floor, with the permit conditioned on no expansion of the building footprint. Mike Blaudschun moved and Brenna Kucinski seconded; the motion carried 2-0.
At 4:36 PM the board voted to enter non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (a&c) for personnel matters and potential harm to reputation; the motion carried by roll-call vote (Mike Blaudschun – yes; Brenna Kucinski – yes). The board returned to public session at 5:08 PM and voted to seal the non-public minutes. With no further business, a motion to adjourn carried and the meeting ended at 5:25 PM.
