The Zoning Board published notice of a public hearing on a variance request for the Cermak property on Old Stoddard Road; the owner is seeking relief from the setback requirement. The board did not discuss the merits of the request; the hearing will proceed under Zoning Board procedures.
Separately, the Conservation Commission asked for a site inspection of the Gilsum Gravel Pit after expressing concern that gravel used on town roadways could be introducing an invasive plant species. The Select Board recorded the request but did not set a date for an inspection at this meeting.
The board also reported that the new Welcome signs are expected to receive state approval and be installed by next week. No votes were taken on these notices during the meeting.
