Nelson Select Board approves minutes, two manifests and a solar exemption

The Nelson Select Board approved several routine items and one planning exemption at its Sept. 18, 2024 meeting. Chair Brenna Kucinski called the meeting to order at 3:04 p.m., and Selectman Mike Blaudschun moved the first set of motions, each of which was seconded by Kucinski and carried 3-0.
The board approved the minutes of its Sept. 4, 2024 meeting and accepted manifests dated Sept. 11 and Sept. 18, 2024. The board also authorized a request letter to the Town Council for the annual litigation response to the auditors; the board described the action as a procedural step required for the town’s annual audit process.
In a separate motion, the board granted a Solar Exemption for the Vetter/Zurich solar project. The board’s recorded action on that item was a 3-0 vote in favor. No member present opposed or abstained.
The meeting record shows the motions were moved by Selectman Mike Blaudschun and seconded by Chair Brenna Kucinski. The board did not record further debate or conditions attached to the approvals at the meeting. The board adjourned at 4:22 p.m.; its next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
