Committee members also asked whether the calendar change requires separate board approval; governance staff advised that, since calendar modifications had been handled as a distinct agenda item in the past, the simplest path is to sunset the resolution tonight and add a calendar-adjustment item to the full board agenda on Thursday so the board can formally adopt the revised dates.
A motion to accept the administration’s recommendation to sunset Resolution 2324 R-001 passed on a roll-call vote with four ayes. There were no public comments on the item at the committee meeting.
Next steps: Administration will prepare a revised calendar reflecting the five-day July closure and the board will consider that calendar item at the next full board meeting.
