Greenfield advances Meeting House painting and rental logistics; warming kitchen nearly complete

The Greenfield Selectboard on June 17 confirmed plans to move forward with painting the Meeting House and agreed to close the building and block adjacent driveways for the duration of the project.
Selectman George Rainier noted that items removed during renovations are stored at the Highway Garage and suggested that he and the Event Coordinator review stored items to determine what can be reused. The warming kitchen is reported operational except for the ice maker; the larger sink has been installed. The board agreed Mi Corazon patrons should be told not to park at the Meeting House during painting and that public parking behind the restaurant would serve as the best alternative.
Selectman Mike Borden said he would contact Milestone Construction about an elevator light and an electric heater issue. The minutes show the painting project is moving forward; no firm completion date or revised fee schedule for Meeting House rentals was recorded in the minutes.
