Palmyra parks board approves agenda, minutes and bills; reports February tax receipts

Jeff Cissna, presiding, called the Palmyra Parks & Recreation Board to order on Feb. 23 and confirmed board members and staff in attendance.
Chris Fountain, a board member, moved to approve the meeting agenda; Robert Stout seconded and the motion carried after a call of Ayes and Nays. Fountain then moved to approve the minutes from the board’s Jan. 26 meeting; Jill Englehardt seconded and the motion carried. Fountain later moved to approve the bills; Marcia Fohey seconded and the board approved the payment of bills.
Park Director Doug Meyers reported the board’s financial position for the month, saying the department collected $24,611.26 in sales tax, $8,285.25 in use tax and $1,606.45 in interest. Meyers presented those figures as the board reviewed the financial reports for February.
With no further business, the board adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
The board did not record individual roll-call votes in the minutes; motions were carried on calls of Ayes and Nays.
