Beaufort County and Hilton Head Island list multiple public meetings, from finance committee to county council

Kevin Libby, host of the Beaufort County bulletin, said local officials scheduled several public meetings on Hilton Head Island for today, including a 10 a.m. Hilton Head Island Finance and Administrative Committee meeting and a 6 p.m. Beaufort County Council session at the Hilton Head Island Library.
The Finance and Administrative Committee's agenda lists a monthly finance update from the finance director and a review of 2027 accommodations-tax grant applications. New-business items on the town agenda include a resolution to authorize a participation agreement for Sea Pines Circle improvements, a resolution authorizing the Hilton Head Island Jam 2026 festival, and consideration of a stormwater-management resolution.
The Beaufort County Executive Committee is set to meet at 4 p.m. at the Hilton Head Island branch library; the bulletin noted the committee's agenda includes 11 committee appointments and an executive session to receive legal advice and discuss personnel matters under attorney'client privilege. A Beaufort County caucus meeting will follow at 5 p.m., also at the library, and the county council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The county council's agenda includes consideration of two green-space program applications and an ordinance amending Chapter 102 of the waterways rules to address public ridership, as well as five ordinances returning for second reading after unanimous first readings, the bulletin said. A consent-agenda item listed a memorandum of understanding with Simra Concreted LLC to donate concrete for improvements on Westbury Court in Bluffton.
"Full agenda packets can be found at beaufortcountysc.gov/agendas," Libby said, and all meetings will be broadcast on the county's cable channel and simulcast on the government's YouTube channel. The bulletin closed by directing residents to the county news page for related press releases and supplementary materials.
The listings are notices of scheduled public meetings; no formal votes or final decisions were recorded in the bulletin itself.
