Taylor Moore was sworn in to the Mitchell Golf and Cemetery Board during the meeting called to order by the board chair.
At the podium, Moore recited the oath: “I, Taylor Moore… do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, the constitution of the state of South Dakota, and the ordinances of said city of Mitchell… to the best of my knowledge and ability perform all the duties of the office of golf and cemetery board,” after which board members congratulated Moore.
The chair told Moore she would need to sign and return the oath paperwork for the board’s records. No formal action beyond the oath was taken at that time. The board’s next meeting was set for August 10.
