Board approves $43,993.63 for replacement doors at Merton Intermediate

Administrators explained the north-side doors have deteriorated from snow and salt exposure and described the proposed hardware as upgraded and more durable; warranty coverage on hardware and installation was confirmed by administration. "The administration is recommending the board make a motion to approve GAPA security to replace Merton Intermediate School door 61213 for $43,993.63," an administrator stated. Administrators said they would trigger an email to the vendor to get the work scheduled and indicated a target completion of June 30 so the expense could be included in the current fiscal year.
