The Charlestown Redevelopment Authority opened its July 2 meeting at City Hall, performed the pledge of allegiance and completed roll call. The board administered an oath of office to Donna Hinniss, who explicitly self-identified in the transcript and recited the oath for a seat on the redevelopment authority.
"I, Donna Hinniss. Do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of The United States...and that I will faithfully, impartially and diligently discharge my duties of the office of a member of the Charlestown Redevelopment Authority of the City of Charlestown," the transcript records.
Following the oath, the board handled routine business. Members moved to approve the meeting agenda, approved prior meeting minutes (the transcript refers to minutes from Feb. 2, 2021 and cites a March 11 meeting dated 03/11/2022), and approved current claims. The Clerk announced there were no public comments. The board also noted that resolutions establishing rules of procedure for public meetings had been posted and recorded a motion and vote to adopt those posted rules.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn; members voted to adjourn and completed post-meeting housekeeping, including signing required certificates and noting one remaining item to update after the meeting.
