Sally Hughes of HWC Engineering read four bids aloud: Dan Cristiani Excavating Inc. — $263,069.00; Tennis Technology, Inc. — $260,000.00 (lowest); Sherfick Companies — $601,035.32; Temple & Temple Excavating — $424,162.00. The commission then voted 5-0 to take the bids under advisement; no award was made.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the April 7, 2026 regular-session minutes (motion by John Spencer, seconded by Chuck Deaton) and approved the claims docket, including two additional claims submitted by American Structurepoint that were not on the original docket. Both motions passed 5-0.
