River Ridge CDD adopts FY2024/25 budget and special assessments

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted its fiscal year 2024/25 budget and approved related special assessments at a public hearing on Aug. 27, 2024.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board the budget in the meeting packet contained scrivener errors, including the description for street-sweeping on Page 2. The Board amended the budget packet before voting. Mrs. Adams opened the public hearing; no affected property owners spoke.
On a motion by Assistant Secretary Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Robert Twombly, the Board adopted Resolution 2024-07, relating to annual appropriations and the FY2024/25 budget, as amended. The vote was announced as "with all in favor." The Board then opened a second public hearing on Resolution 2024-08, making a determination of benefit and imposing special assessments for FY2024/25; no members of the public spoke. The Board approved an amendment deleting references to "Exhibit B" and adopted Resolution 2024-08 as amended.
The Board recorded motions and approvals for related procedural items during the session; staff indicated the assessment roll and any needed administrative changes will be implemented per the adopted resolutions. The meeting minutes note that Board members were reminded to complete required ethics training and financial disclosure filings as part of routine compliance.
The Board confirmed the actions by voice vote with the motions carried "with all in favor." The adopted budget and assessment documents will take effect as provided in the resolutions and staff will post required materials to the District’s public records as appropriate. The Board set the next meeting for Sept. 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
