River Ridge CDD administers oaths to newly elected supervisors and elects officers

At its Nov. 19 meeting the River Ridge Community Development District sworn in three newly elected supervisors and adopted Resolution 2025-02 to elect Bob Schultz as chair and other officers; the board also reviewed ethics training and disclosure deadlines.
The River Ridge Community Development District on Nov. 19 administered the Oath of Office to three newly elected supervisors and formally elected its officers for the coming term. Mrs. Adams, acting as a notary, swore in Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5).
On the board's fourth order of business Mr. Mountford nominated Bob Schultz as chair, himself as vice chair and named Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill as assistant secretaries. On a motion by Mr. Mountford, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, the board adopted Resolution 2025-02 electing those officers "as nominated" (motion recorded as adopted "with all in favor").
The board was reminded of statutory and administrative requirements related to ethics training and financial-disclosure filings. Mrs. Adams reviewed the sample Form 1 instructions, the Sunshine Amendment and Code of Ethics guidance, and Form 8B for memoranda of voting conflict; discussion noted the annual four-hour ethics training requirement and that the deadline will be added to the CDD's Key Activity Dates list.
The meeting proceeded to routine business following the officer elections; the board set its next regular meeting for Dec. 10, 2024, at 1 p.m.
