Board members and staff responded that ordinances are recorded in minutes and that staff would meet with the commenter and the mayor to address specific concerns; the clerk and others offered to provide more explanation and documentation.
The public-comment segment highlighted both positive community engagement and continuing resident concerns about transparency in ordinance publication and local enforcement practices.
