The Tioga City Commission voted on Aug. 18 to proceed with surveying and platting an east-side parcel of the Annabelle subdivision into six lots after developer and resident interest increased.
Dan Larson told commissioners that a roughly 900-foot-long parcel on the east side of the Annabelle development could be divided into half-acre parcels, with estimated lot dimensions of about 162 feet by 135 feet. Commissioners discussed water stubbing to each lot before voting.
Commissioner Jaden Iverson moved to authorize surveying and platting of the Annabelle addition into six lots; Commissioner Kyle Ralston seconded and the motion passed by recorded roll call with Commissioners Ralston, Iverson and Dye recorded as voting Aye.
The commission directed Planning & Zoning and staff to proceed with the survey and plat process; no sale or bidding timetable was specified in the minutes. The matter will require follow-up to confirm water-service stubs, final lot dimensions and any public-notice or subdivision-review steps required by city ordinance.
