The Hornellsville Town Board unanimously approved routine administrative items at its May 12 meeting, authorizing payment of vouchers and accepting the supervisor's financial report.
Robert Mauro moved and David Oakes seconded Resolution 69-2026 to approve the April 14, 2026 regular meeting minutes; the motion passed 5-0 with votes recorded for Dan Broughton, James Giglio, Robert Mauro, David Oakes and Trisha Yanni.
In Resolution 70-2026 (motion by Mauro; second by Yanni) the board authorized payment of vouchers 130 through 165 totaling $112,008.62. The board approved the following distribution: General Fund A, $45,745.81; General Fund B, $292.90; Highway Townwide DA, $55,528.41; Highway Outside Village DB, $10,437.50.
The board also adopted budget amendments under Resolution 71-2026 (motion by Yanni; second by Mauro). The Bookkeeper's Report dated May 2026 documented two transfers from A599 Fund Balance: $800.00 to A1220.4 (Supervisor ' Contractual) and $1,033.36 to A9010.8 (State Retirement).
Supervisor Dan Broughton presented the Supervisor's Report for April 2026. The report listed a balance as of March 31, 2026 of $2,809,437.15, an increase of $550,751.25 and a decrease of $976,957.03, resulting in an ending balance of $2,383,231.37 as of April 30, 2026. Resolution 72-2026 (motion by David Oakes; second by Robert Mauro) accepted the report; the vote was 5-0.
The meeting adjourned after a brief executive session and reconvening; no action was reported from the executive session.
