The Village of Taos Ski Valley Tax Incremental Development District (TIDD) board unanimously approved a resolution on March 10 accepting the FY2025 final audit, which an auditor described as an unmodified opinion with no findings.
Geoff Mamerow of Southwest Accounting Solutions presented the audit to the board and said, “The Village of Taos Ski Valley TIDD received an unmodified opinion. It was also a no‑finding audit.” Following the presentation, Board Member Frimm moved to approve Resolution No. 2026‑67 requesting acceptance and approval of the FY2025 final audit; Board Member Stagg seconded. The motion passed 4‑0 with Board Members Frimm, Stagg, Leach and Board Chair Thomas Wittman voting in favor and Board Member Turner absent.
The board conducted the meeting via Zoom and did not perform a formal roll call, but indicated a quorum was present. The accepted resolution formalizes the board’s receipt of the auditor’s report; the minutes record no further findings, qualifications, or requests for additional follow‑up from the auditor.
The acceptance of the audit concludes the fiscal year reporting process documented in the FY2025 final audit and places the audit on record with the TIDD. No implementation steps or follow‑up tasks were specified in the meeting minutes.
