The Jackson Select Board approved multiple trust-fund withdrawals on Oct. 14 to cover invoices and ongoing capital work.
The board authorized $68,743.72 from the Road Reconstruction Capital Reserve Fund to pay Pike Industries Inc. (Invoice 48163, dated Sept. 16, 2025) and North Country Paving (Invoice 472, dated Oct. 9, 2025). It also approved $42,773.60 from the Bridge Repair Expendable Trust Fund to pay Austin Construction, Inc. (Invoice dated March 13, 2025) and a deposit of $5,814.88 from the Town Office Building Maintenance & Repairs ETF to J&J Floorcovering, Inc.
Select Board member Bob Thompson moved and Barbara Campbell seconded each withdrawal motion; the minutes record the motions as approved. The board also authorized discontinuation of the Mark Hammer Fire Department Expendable Trust Fund and directed the Trustees to transfer $14.27 from the Fire Department Equipment ETF to cover a small negative balance and close the account.
Board members said these moves follow warrant-article approvals from the 2025 Town Meeting and are intended to keep capital and maintenance work on schedule.
