King and Queen County Electoral Board approves minutes, moves to L&A testing for Nov. 5 election

The King and Queen County Electoral Board met Sept. 9, 2019, and was called to order by Chair Armistead Ransone at 8:30 a.m. The session took place at the General Registrar’s office.
Board attendees recorded in the minutes were Armistead Ransone, Chairman; David Broaddus, Vice Chairman; Diane Klausen, General Registrar; and Mary Ann Levere, Secretary. The minutes for the prior meeting were reviewed and approved; the transcript records the action as “Approved,” but does not record a mover, seconder or vote tally.
The board set its next regular meeting for Oct. 8, 2019. The meeting adjourned at 8:35 a.m., and all in attendance moved to the hearing room in the King and Queen Court House for logic-and-accuracy (L&A) testing of voting equipment in advance of the Nov. 5 election. The minutes are signed by Mary Ann Levere, Secretary.
