Cumberland council swears in new members, confirms committees and approves routine business
Summary

Council members discussed Sunday use of playing fields and dog rules as part of that conversation.
Finally, the council set a public hearing for July 27 to consider a waterfront/warping‑out permit for 77 Sanderson Road and adjourned for the evening.
What happens next: Staff will post the materials for the scheduled July 27 hearing and will return the items (including any Casco Bay Trail follow-up) to the council once MaineDOT and town staff have met with abutters and provided written clarifications requested by councilors.
