Williston schedules hearings on 2026 budget and zoning changes; approves consent agenda with $3.1M in payments

Development Services asked the commission to schedule Sept. 9, 2025 hearings on several land‑use items: a proposed zone change from A (Agriculture) to M‑1 (Light Industrial) for a 6.10‑acre unplatted tract in NW Section 2, Township 154, Range 101; a proposed amendment to Ordinance 613 (Section 25.F) to allow uncovered decks/porches to encroach up to 6 feet into front yard setbacks and extend the full building width (Ordinance 1168); and a proposed zone change from A to C‑2 (General Commercial) for Sublot 1, SWNW Section 25 for Black Gold Oilfield Services, LLC. Those hearing requests were approved as part of the consent agenda.
