The Lambert School Districts #86 & #4 Board of Trustees on Jan. 26 unanimously approved a two-year contract for Superintendent and athletic director Kara Triplett covering the 2026–27 and 2027–28 school years.
The board met in closed session to compile Triplett's superintendent evaluation and invited her into the session to review the evaluation. After returning to open session, trustees approved the contract that sets Triplett's salary at $98,700 for 2026–27 and $102,650 for 2027–28; all other contract terms remain unchanged.
The closed-session evaluation began at 9:25 PM; Triplett was called in at 9:50 PM and the meeting reopened at 9:57 PM. The motion to approve the contract passed on a unanimous vote of trustees Lacey Mullin, Sara Huft, Tara Hill, Cheyanne Rauschendorfer and Rodney Evenson.
The board did not change other contract provisions during the vote; minutes note the salaries and the two-year term. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Feb. 24, 2026.
