Committee hears CDP Cities briefing, discusses green infrastructure presentation for August

He said the questionnaire can help a small city identify priorities and produce data sets that can inform resilience or climate action planning. "The questionnaire does help you bring together a bunch of information," the presenter said.
Staff also said they have compiled a green infrastructure plan and will share data with committee members and present recommendations at the August meeting. Committee members asked for examples of comparably sized cities and emphasized they want small-city examples rather than large metros.
Next steps: Staff will circulate the CDP slide deck and a brief distillation of the questionnaire; the committee will review the green infrastructure recommendations in August and consider whether to pursue CDP participation or county-level collaboration.
