He said the town is on two separate circuits for redundancy, that some older lines have been replaced with stronger Hendrix cable, and that NOVEC will begin scheduled tree trimming in the Clifton area this fall.
Chesley emphasized that customers should report outages immediately using NOVEC's automatic reporting system and should notify the utility in advance where there is a household member who requires electricity for life-support equipment. He also referenced a NOVEC program that sponsors affordable generators for households with special needs.
