The Clifton Town Council on Aug. 2 approved two Planning Commission recommendations related to local land use.
The council approved a Use Permit for Market Wealth Management to occupy suites 107—112 at 12644 Chapel Road, with the business operating Monday—Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Planning Commission recommended approval including allocation of six parking spaces per applicable code; the council approved the recommendation on a 5-0 poll vote.
The council also approved a preliminary use permit for construction of a replacement deck at 12643 Water Street. The Planning Commission recommended approval contingent on issuance of an Architectural Review Board Certificate of Appropriateness and compliance with any county requirements; the council approved the preliminary permit 5-0. The Planning Commission noted the deck would involve approximately 50 square feet of land-disturbing activity and requested that a final use permit be requested within two years with proof of compliance.
Council members recorded both approvals in the minutes without additional conditions.
