During the public session of the Jan. 2 Ogdensburg reorganization meeting, resident Vicki Schroder asked which appointments the council had approved and how to obtain the list.
Resident Donna Heverly raised concern about parking enforcement during the town's recent snowstorm, noting that several people were ticketed. Heverly asked the council to consider establishing a defined winter no-parking period and to review rules for parking on paper roads in town.
"Maybe we should look into making this from date to date with no parking on the road during winter," Donna Heverly said.
Borough Clerk Robin Hough responded that copies of the appointment list were available from the clerk's office. The council did not take formal action on parking at the meeting; DeMeo moved to close public comment and the meeting proceeded to adjournment at 7:19 p.m.
The parking concerns were presented as a request for the council to review policy; no ordinance, motion to introduce an ordinance, or direction to staff on drafting new parking rules appears in the minutes.
