Multiple public hearings continued after hybrid link fails; hearings rescheduled
Summary
Because the Zoom/YouTube hybrid link required by the legal notice failed, the AHRB continued multiple public hearings (including 214 Palisades and 15 Lewis Avenue) to the next meeting so virtual public comment can be accommodated.

Dobbs Ferry staff told the board the evening’s Zoom link — which was included in the legal public notice to permit virtual public comment — was not working and could not be fixed in time. Staff advised, and the board agreed, that any hearings for which the notice promised hybrid remote comment should be continued so the public can comment under the advertised format.
The chair moved and the board voted to continue affected hearings (214 Palisades Avenue, 15 Lewis Avenue and other items noted on the agenda) to the next meeting date. Staff emphasized the legal need to provide the remote comment option because the notices had specified it.
Board members and staff instructed applicants that materials submitted in the interim would carry forward to the adjourned hearings and encouraged applicants to use the extra time to address technical questions.
