Indian Head reports March finances and code-enforcement activity; council approved minutes
Summary

At the April 6 town meeting, the finance report for March was read and recorded: a beginning cash balance of $985,099.80, total revenues of $202,650.49 and total expenditures of $348,257.81, leaving a cash balance of $839,492.48 as of March 31, 2026. Investment accounts were reported at $1,039,182.95.
The code-enforcement report for March showed 23 notices of violation issued: 2 rubbish/garbage, 4 zoning/permit, 2 rental-license, 5 property-maintenance, 1 nuisance/noise and 9 inoperative/untagged-vehicle violations. The town completed 26 rental inspections and cleared 10 violations.
Procedurally, Mayor Brandon Paulin moved to approve the March 2 town meeting minutes and the March 25 work-session minutes; Councilwoman Cassandra Stillwell seconded and the motion passed by voice vote (2 Ayes, 0 Nays).
Town Manager Ryan Hicks said work on the FY27 budget is well underway and reminded residents of a public hearing on April 30 on GoToMeeting at 6 p.m.
