Stephens City council approves ordinance to vacate Bluestone Drive to allow industrial park development

The read vote listed ayes by Bowers, Fravel, Hollis, Nauman, Swygert‑Smith and Thatcher and no nays. Mayor Grim noted a 30‑day period during which the public may file an appeal of the ordinance.

The meeting record also contains an inconsistency: Vice Mayor Ronald Bowers is listed as absent in the roll call yet was listed among those voting "aye" in the ordinance vote.
