Town Administrator Violet Sanderson told the Afton Town Council on Jan. 12, 2021, that Rural Community Consultants has submitted redline revisions to Title 17, the town’s Land Use Ordinance, and asked council members to review the changes and notify staff of concerns. She said the Planning & Zoning Board would also examine the proposed changes before the council begins consideration of a new ordinance.
Sanderson asked council members to flag any questions or requested edits and to provide feedback to staff ahead of formal review. No ordinance amendments were adopted at the Jan. 12 meeting; the council scheduled Planning & Zoning review before proceeding toward possible ordinance adoption.
