At its Feb. 17 work session, the New Windsor Town Council voted 5-0 to purchase a Bobcat skid loader for $60,265, funding the acquisition from the town's capital vehicle and equipment budget. The motion was made by Councilmember Connor Frock and seconded by Councilmember Joshua Wolfe Mallow.
Public Works Director Wayne Myers told the council staff had obtained multiple quotes: JCB $66,500, Case $60,500, Kubota $68,535 and Bobcat $60,265. Myers also reported that a newly purchased mower has been completed and is expected to arrive in the second week of March.
Council approved the Bobcat purchase without recorded amendments. The minutes list the purchase as coming from the capital vehicle/equipment line; the town did not provide additional delivery or warranty details at the meeting.
