The Red Willow County Board of Commissioners held consecutive public hearings on July 13 on both the preliminary and final plats submitted by Kim R. Miller for the proposed K. Miller Subdivision (property described as parts of the Southwest Quarter and a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 4 North, Range 26 West of the 6th P.M.). After hearing from Scott Clifford, who explained how the subdivision came about, the board adopted Resolution No.1598 approving the preliminary plat (motion by Randy Dean, seconded by Charles Fritsche) and later adopted Resolution No.1599 approving the final plat (motion by Charles Fritsche, seconded by Randy Dean); both votes were unanimous.
The hearings were conducted in sequence: the board recessed into the preliminary-plat public hearing at 9:40 a.m., closed that hearing at 9:45 a.m., then opened and closed the final-plat hearing at 9:50–9:55 a.m. The minutes do not record opposition or conditions attached to the approvals.
