Participants discussed a phased approach: an initial demonstration phase estimated at about $4,000, followed by a review of results before committing to additional phases.
The minutes record that NVCT, which co-owns the property, has been involved in planning and is willing to co-sponsor and co-fund the work and pursue grants to support it. Councilmember Steve Effros suggested asking the Clifton Business Association (CBA) to help fund the project as well. Councilmember Darrell Poe indicated support for the phased plan.
Councilmembers directed staff to bring a specific plan and cost breakdown for the first phase to a future Council meeting for approval.
