Council directed staff to prepare a detailed accounting—coordinating with the Treasurer—so elected officials and the public can review the town’s net liability and future funding needs before approving further steps.
No formal motion was taken at the meeting regarding the Streetscape Project; the matter will return to the Council when the J2 Engineers proposal is ready and when the Treasurer and staff deliver the requested financial forecast.
