At its March 11 meeting the Muscoda Village Board approved a range of routine consent‑agenda items: license approvals, committee reports, departmental reports, invoices and small equipment purchases.
The board granted operator licenses to Mike Larson and Brittney Riggs and accepted the Festival Committee report, authorizing committee plans for vendors and sponsorships. The board accepted the police and superintendent monthly reports and approved an online three‑day training to be completed onsite by officers. The Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer report was accepted; staff are continuing work on taking credit cards and managing festival and election tasks.
Purchases approved included a Kyocera office printer for $790 with a $22.25 monthly maintenance plan, and a refurbished DVR for Squad #2 at $1,500 (approved over a $6,000 new‑unit option; Anderson voted no on the DVR purchase). The board also authorized posting the revised Industrial Park map showing parcels for sale and agreed to advertise seven available seasonal campsites on local tourism Facebook pages. Finally, the board approved payment of invoices as presented.
