Muscoda board hires 2025 pool staff and sets wages, certification reimbursement

By motion (Anderson, second Meyer), the board approved hiring Madison Vande Hey as Pool Lead at $20.00 per hour; two Sub Pool Leads (Laree Vande Hey and Cheryl Miller) at $19.00 per hour (the minutes also list them as swim instructors); and multiple lifeguards with wages ranging from $14.00 to $15.25 per hour (including Faith Vande Hey at $15.25 and Luke Vande Hey at $14.50). Cashier pay was set at $10.00 per hour, determined by the Pool Lead.
The village will provide swimsuits and T‑shirts for each guard and two T‑shirts for each cashier. Lifeguards will be reimbursed 50% of certification costs after completing the first year of employment and the balance after completing the second year. The motion carried on a roll call vote.
