Linda Dator updated commissioners that the township attorney has contacted the U.S. Marshals' Service to request permission to inspect the interior of the Crocker Mansion, but that permission has not been granted. As a result, the Commission does not expect to be able to inspect the interior until after the property is sold.
The minutes record the Commission's intent to follow up but contain no further detail on the legal basis for the Marshals' control or on the expected sale timetable. No votes or motions were taken on this matter at the meeting.
