The City of Galesville Police, Fire and Personnel Committee recommended on Aug. 5 that the City Council renew the 2025–26 employee health insurance plan with Quartz Gundersen Performance Gold HMO (plan G402), and that the city use the Health Reimbursement Account to cover the difference between the plan deductible and the out-of-pocket maximum.
Committee member J. Swing moved the recommendation; Committee member J. Seely seconded. The motion carried. The recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for final approval.
At the start of the meeting the committee approved minutes from its July 2, 2025 meeting. The committee also reviewed the Health Reimbursement Account administered by Employer Benefits Corporation and recorded that no changes to the HRA were recommended.
