At its Sept. 3 meeting the Nelson Select Board recorded the following approvals and updates:
- Approved Selectmen's meeting minutes for Aug. 20, 2025 (motion by Mike Blaudschun; second Brenna Kucinski; vote 3-0). - Approved Manifests for Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, 2025 (motion by Mike Blaudschun; second Brenna Kucinski; vote 3-0). - Approved Town Hall rental for D. Bower for Oct. 18, 2025 (motion by Mike Blaudschun; second Brenna Kucinski; vote 3-0). - Approved Power's annual maintenance agreement for the Safety Building generator at a cost of $410 (motion by Mike Blaudschun; second Brenna Kucinski; vote 3-0). - Agreed to place a 2026 warrant article to deposit Cheshire County surplus funds from CCPNH into the Nelson Renewable/Green Energy Project Capital Reserve Fund once the County notifies the Town of the amount. - Heard that the Attorney General has informed the Court it agrees with Nelson's request for relief in the Munsonville Cemetery ownership resolution; the Town awaits the Court's final decision. - Reported a Gilsum Gravel Pit site visit found no knotweed.
The Board adjourned at 5:10 PM; its next regular meeting is scheduled for Sept. 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
